Hwy 151 Band

Hwy 151 Band is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  We are Craig and Sheryl Campbell, and Dan Hanlon.  We choose music that spans generations from  Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" to Megan Trainers "I'm Gonna Love You".  We play rock as well as country and styles in between.  We are currently playing in the Eastern Iowa area, but are open to expanding our area.  Our fans always comment on our close harmonies and our selections of their favorites.  We also write our own music.  We play Dan's "Got to Be Kind" and "You Got the Change", and Craig's original "Back Home Again".

We come from a long history of playing music.  Craig's love of music brought him to Iowa in the 1970s.  He graduated with a degree in music and teaches music locally.  He is currently playing his Fender Telecaster as our lead guitar.   Dan has played all over the United States and wields his talent on the bass guitar and mandolin..  Sheryl brings a background in vocal music, plays the keyboard and backs up on bass when Dan picks up the mandolin.  We have been together for ten years and have all played in several bands before that for decades.  Added to that are Craig and Dan's ability to write good music.
